Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie

  • 1 Each-Pre-made Pie Crust, 9 inch 
  • 3/4 Cup-Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 2 Tablespoons-Unsalted Butter
  • 1/2 Cup-Brown Sugar
  • 3 Each-Eggs-large          
  • 1 Teaspoon-Kosher Salt
  • 3/4 Cup-Light Corn syrup
  • 2 Tablespoons-Bourbon
  • 2 Cups-Pecans-halves


  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  2. Place 3 cups of water in a stock pot, next place a mixing bowl over the top and bring water to a boil.
  3. Lower heat to medium and place the butter and chocolate chips in the bowl to melt, stir with a rubber spatula to combine.
  4. Turn off heat when melted and combined completely, leave on stove.
  5. Place brown sugar, eggs, salt, corn syrup and bourbon in a separate mixing bowl.
  6. Mix with a wire whip until all ingredients are incorporated.
  7. Add melted chocolate/butter mixture and mix to combine.
  8. Place pecans to bottom of pie crust and pour filling over pecans.
  9. Place pie in preheated oven and bake for 40-50 minutes or until top center of the filling becomes firm but not hard.
  10. Remove from oven and let rest for at least one hour.
